Raquel Alano, Studio Director/ Teacher (Ballet, Modern Dance, Jazz, Tap, Pilates, Yoga)
Raquel holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Dance from San Diego State University. She is trained in Mueller & Limon Technique through the guidance of Melissa Nunn, Patricia Sandback, and Risa Steinberg. She has performed for modern dance choreographers and collectives throughout San Diego and Mexico. She is Pilates and Self Defense Certified through IMPACT Personal Safety. As an avid Bikram and Vinyasa Flow yogi, she specializes in building strength, flexibility, and stamina by utilizing proper alignment while building and increasing core awareness in instructing both dance, Pilates, and yoga. She strives to encourage the love of dance and movement by teaching through ideokinesis, always incorporating thorough anatomy and kinesiology concepts in her classes. Jeri-Faye Cohen (Lyrical & Jazz)
Jeri-Faye is thrilled to be a part of the Pacific Studio for Dance faculty! After many years of competing as a dancer, she earned her Bachelor's degree in business from American University. While in Washington D.C., she became a member of the NBA Washington Wizards Dance Team. She returned to Los Angeles, studying at Edge Performing Arts Center, signed with Bloc Talent Agency to begin her career as a performing artist. She has performed for professional sports teams such as NBA Los Angeles Lakers, AFL Avengers and MLS Chivas USA. She has appeared on numerous shows, commercials and videos such as the Disney Channel’s ANT Farm, DEX Yellow Pages, Atlantis Resort, LG Wireless, Dr. Phil and Rockin’ Body Fitness as well as worked with such artists as Cee-Lo Green “Cry Baby”, Snoop Dogg “O Sookie/True Blood” and Britney Spears “Till the World Ends” and was an ensemble member of Planet Hollywood's "Vegas! The Show." She has taught throughout California, D.C, Florida and taught master classes in Japan, as well. No matter where work takes her, she will always return home inspired by her peers, students, teachers and those that never give up on their dreams!
Jeze Zankich (Intermediate-Advanced Tap)
Currently based out of Los Angeles, Jeze is a relentlessly passionate dancer, choreographer, and teacher. Her dance training began at age 5 in Carlsbad, California. After moving to Tucson, Arizona, Jeze’s knack for tap was noticed by Michael Allen, a protégé of Maceo Anderson (Four Step Brothers.) Jeze competed as a member of BreakOut Studios Youth Company, both regionally and nationally. After high school, she trained as a fitness professional at world renowned Canyon Ranch, all the while continuing her pursuits in choreography, video and stage production, as well as writing. Since relocating to Los Angeles, she is pursuing her dream in the dance and film industry and continues to teach and perform independently and as a member of an all-female tap ensemble, Tap That.

Jo Bolden (Intermediate Jazz, Advanced Hip Hop)
Jo is particularly recognized for her unique lyrical, jazz and jazz funk styles but known for her work with dancers to unleash powerful presence, connection and essence in each moment. A personal philosophy grounded in understanding much more than the physicality of dance has seen her lecture and teach at an international level. Jo is part of an International Faculty, alongside well-known teachers from the U.S.A and Canada, for Phoenix International Dance Workshops (New Zealand), is a guest tutor for The American Jazz Dance Affiliation (NZ) and has most recently begun to make an appearance at EDGE PAC, Hollywood. Performance credits out of Australia reach from TV/Film to corporate and live stage shows including the A.R.I.A and Mo Awards, Australian Fashion Week, Son of the Mask (Feature Film), stage performances with Meatloaf and Sam Powers International Illusionist. Jo has also been called upon to choreograph for the Miss Chinese Australia Pageant, General Motors (Mitsubishi), Schwarzkopf, the Shanghai Tourism Festival, the NRL, Regprom Marketing, Australian recording artists, club shows and more.
Laura Fremont (Founder/Substitute Teacher, Jazz, Tap, Ballet)
Founder of Pacific Studio for Dance, Laura has been named among “…the country’s top teachers” by Dance Teacher Magazine. Loretta Livingston (& Dancers) regards Laura to be “one of the finest teachers in Los Angeles…"It is this level of teaching that builds professional dancers.” To learn more about Laura check out her website. She is Yoga Certified (RYT-200) and holds a BFA in Dance. A movement specialist for over 25 years in LA, she was the former Director/Owner of Pacific Studio for Dance; currently, CEO of Ignite Dance Workshops. Her work includes L.A. Danceforce International Conventions and Workshops and EDGE Performing Arts Center in Hollywood. Laura has lectured at Universities of California on Training the Dancer and the Business of Dance. Laura is also part of DancePlug, the new “happening” in internet-dance-education. She has produced and choreographed for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Carmel Arts Festival, Fairbanks Cultural Arts Festival, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, and “Celebrate National Dance Week” with original and recreated ballets, contemporary concerts, and musical theater workshops. Laura has performed in film, commercial, and television in Pizza Hut (Wedding Twerker), Bayer One-A-Day-50+, Cougar Town, The Muppets, Friends With Benefits, Did You Hear About The Morgans, and more. She has toured with Broadway’s original repertory company, the AMERICAN DANCEMACHINE. Laura is known as a technician with a versatile background of Ballet, Jazz, Modern, and Theater Dance.
Patricia Godfrey (Ballet)
Ms. Patricia began her ballet studies in San Francisco under the direction of Ludmilla Schollar, a former member of Ballet Russes de Diaghilev. She became a member of the corps de ballet with San Francisco Ballet at the tender age of 14. She toured with ballet companies throughout Europe. She is well known for exact, precise, and exquisite instruction. She has coached many dancers for competitions and auditions. She currently teaches and choreographs in the Pasadena and Glendale area.
